Did You Know: May 28, 2014

On May 28, 2002, almost a year after the Mars Odyssey was launched into space and eight months since it had reached Mars, the rover found evidence of water ice.

This water ice could mean that one day Mars may be found to habitable by humans. Which means that in the future there could be people having a barbecue on Martian soil,  with a sweet tea in hand, and looking into the sky to see the Earth staring back at them.

To infinity and beyond, indeed.

And that is pretty awesome.
